Ninja Kamui vs Solo Leveling – Which One is Better?

The story of Ninja Kamui is about a ninja named Higan. He ran away from his ninja group and settled in rural America, using the name Joe Logan. 

One day, some murderers attacked him and his family as punishment for betraying his clan. They killed Higan’s wife and son.

Now, Higan wants to get back at the clan that harmed him by becoming a ninja once more.

Solo Leveling, on the other hand, takes place in a dangerous world with big threats, A hunter named Sung Jin-woo survives a risky double dungeon.

The system chooses him and gives him special powers to level up and turn his kills into loyal minions called Shadows. With these unique abilities, Jin-Woo goes on a journey to find out the secrets of the dungeons and learn about his new powers. 

He faces different enemies, both humans and monsters and the protagonist, starting as the weakest hunter, begins his journey to become the strongest.

The plots of both animes are impressive, as

Ninja Kamui draws inspiration from traditional Japanese folklore, featuring themes of betrayal, survival, and the quest for freedom. On the other hand, 

Solo Leveling offers advanced action with supreme powers and captivates audiences with breathtaking battles.

I liked the plot of Solo Leveling more because of its advanced action and storytelling.

Sung Jin Woo is the main character in Solo Leveling, and his progress throughout the story is both motivating and relatable. 

In the beginning, he is a weak hunter with a low rank. However, through his solo battles in dungeons, he eventually joins a group of hunters and becomes one of the best among them.

His path crosses with other interesting characters like Cha Hae-In, who is a skilled swordsman with a high rank, and Thomas Andre, a strong hunter from America.

These supporting characters bring depth to the story by having their own unique backgrounds that are intriguing.

Joe Higan is the main protagonist in Ninja Kamui. He is a rogue ninja with a special ability to eliminate other ninjas and is considered one of the best leaders in the Ninja Kamui world. His past catches up to him when he’s attacked by assassins from his former organization.

His paths cross with other protagonists, like Mike Moriss, who plays a significant role in Joe’s past and conflicts. Emma Samanda works as an ally or adversary to Joe, and Mari, and Joseph are all friends of Joe’s in Ninja Kamui.

These characters play an important role in the story of Ninja Kamui. They each bring their own unique qualities to the themes of betrayal, identity, and redemption.

In Ninja Kamui, the characters are deeply involved in their ninja history, showcasing a variety of skills and moral complexities. On the other hand, 

Solo Leveling presents a diverse cast, each with unique abilities and backstories.

I liked the characters of Ninja Kamui because I can personally relate to them as representations of human potential in the real world.

Ninja Kamui showcases a sleek and polished animation style.  

The character designs are sharp and detailed, reflecting the anime’s dark and mature tone.

The use of shadows and lighting is particularly noteworthy, creating a dramatic effect that enhances the tension and mood of the series.

Also, the action sequences and integration of technology are standout features of Ninja Kamui.

Solo Leveling features a crisp and fluid animation style. The studio A-1 Pictures is known for its high production values and dynamic visual storytelling.

The characters are designed with a keen eye for detail, capturing the essence of their webtoon personalities. Action and Combat Sequences is far better in terms of animation style. With its stunning visuals, Solo Leveling’s animation stands out.

The animation style of both series is incomparable, but they perform equally well in their own unique forms.

The animation in Ninja Kamui is sleek and modern, with sharp lines and dynamic action sequences. On the other hand,

Solo Leveling features vibrant and detailed animation, bringing its fantastical world to life.

However, if I had to choose between them, I would give a slight advantage to Solo Leveling.

Both series offer unique experiences. Ninja Kamui stands out for its stylish approach to the ninja genre, while Solo Leveling captivates with its inspirational storyline and immersive world-building.

Like, it’s not easy to choose one over the other because both have made significant contributions with their rich engagement and unique storylines. However, considering all the points mentioned above, Solo Leveling emerges as the winner and has an edge over Ninja Kamui and Solo Leveling can gain more user engagement in the near future.

Of course, this is just my personal opinion, you may have a different one. Ultimately, the best way to decide which anime series to watch is to watch them yourself and form your own judgment.

Solo Leveling might just surpass it for its broader appeal and the depth of its world. However, if you’re a fan of tight storytelling with a darker edge, Ninja Kamui could be the way to go.
