Hantengu vs Muichiro – Who Would Win?

Hantengu is the fourth-ranking demon in the Twelve Kizuki, the best group of demons commanded by the head of demons, Muzan Kibutsuji. 

As an Upper Moon, he is among the strongest and oldest demons in existence, having survived for hundreds of years and killed hundreds of demon slayers. He has fabulous physical strength as well as a unique Blood Demon Art that allows him to express his emotions into different versions.

Hantengu’s Blood Demon Art allows him to create seven versions that can even represent his different emotions like anger, joy, sorrow, pleasure, fear, hatred, and regret. Each version has a different appearance and they can act independently and cooperate with each other. The versions are:

Sekido: The expression of anger. He can generate and manipulate electricity, and he is the leader of the versions.

Karaku: The expression of joy. He can create and control fire, and he is the most cheerful and playful of the versions.

Aizetsu: The expression of sorrow. He can create and control ice, and he is the most shy and sensitive of the versions.

Urogi: The expression of pleasure. He can create and control flesh-eating plants, and he is the most passionate and cruel of the versions.

Zohakuten: The expression of fear. He is the combination of Sekido, Karaku, Aizetsu, and Urogi, and he has all of their abilities combined. He is the most powerful and terrifying of the versions.

Urami: The expression of hatred. He can create and control poisonous snakes, and he is the most hateful and vengeful of the versions. And last

Hantengu: The expression of regret. He is the original and main body of Hantengu, and he is the most cowardly and frightened of the versions.

First Form: Mist Blade. A basic slash that creates a thin mist trail.

Second Form: Eight-Layered Mist. A series of eight blades that creates a thick mist which blocks the enemy’s vision and sense of direction.

Third Form: Mist Spider. A slash that creates a web-like pattern of mist that traps the enemy in a small area.

Fourth Form: Shifting Flow Slash. A slash that changes direction and makes it unpredictable and difficult to block.

Fifth Form: White Rainbow. A slash that creates a bright arc of mist that blinds the enemy for a moment.

Sixth Form: Misty Blue Spider Lily. A slash that creates a spiral of mist that cuts through the enemy’s body.

Hantengu and Muichiro have a personal connection and a grudge against each other, as they are both related to the Tokito family, a family of swordsmiths that was murdered by Hantengu centuries ago. Muichiro is the ancestor of the sole survivor of the clan, who managed to escape and pass on the Mist Breathing to his children. 

Hantengu recognizes Muichiro as a Tokito, and he is angered by his existence because he sees him as an expression of his failure to destroy the family. Muichiro, on the other hand, learns about his family’s history from Hantengu, and he is determined to avenge them and honor their legacy.

Hantengu and Muichiro have different reasons for engaging in the battle, as they represent the opposite sides of the dispute between demons and demon slayers. 

Hantengu’s goal is to kill all the demon slayers in the village, especially Muichiro, and to fulfill Muzan’s orders. 

Muichiro’s goal is to protect the village, the swordsmiths, and his fellow demon slayers, and to defeat Hantengu.

Hantengu and Muichiro face many challenges and obstacles in the battle like

Hantengu has to face not only Muichiro, but also Tanjiro, Nezuko, Genya, and Mitsuri, who join the battle at different points and help Muichiro in various ways.

Muichiro has to face not only Hantengu, but also his seven clones, who have different abilities and personalities, and who can fuse and separate at will.

Hantengu has to deal with his own emotions, which can affect his judgment and performance, and which can be exploited by his enemies.

Muichiro has to deal with his own memories, which can distract him and make him weak but which can also inspire him and make him stronger.

Hantengu has to deal with the effects of sunlight, which can weaken and kill him, and which forces him to retreat and hide in the shadows.

Muichiro has to deal with the effects of poison, which can impair and kill him, and which he gets infected with by Urami’s snakes.

Hantengu and Muichiro have a dramatic and emotional climax in the battle, as they have their final confrontation and exchange their last words.

Hantengu, after being defeated by Muichiro and his allies, tries to escape by hiding in a tree trunk, but he is found by Muichiro, who cuts through the trunk and beheads him. Hantengu, in his last moments, curses Muichiro and his family and expresses his fear of dying and his regret of not becoming stronger.

Muichiro, after killing Hantengu, collapses from his injuries and poison and sees a vision of his family, who welcome him and praise him for his achievements. Muichiro, in his last moments, thanks his family and his friends, and expresses his happiness of being a demon slayer and a Tokito.
